MD Announcements - View: Juan R. Madariaga, MD, PhD

The Department of Surgery is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Juan R. Madariaga as Professor of Surgery, effective April 2008.  Dr. Madariaga is board certified in general surgery.

After earning a medical degree from Valladolid University in Spain, Dr. Madariaga completed residency training in general surgery at Santa Marina Sanatorium, Tufts University and SUNY Stony Brook.  He completed fellowship training in surgical oncology at SUNY Stony Brook and the Medical College of Virginia.  He has additional fellowship training in transplantation that was completed at the University of Pittsburgh.
