Overview

Orthopaedics is the medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The musculoskeletal system is comprised of bones, tendons, ligaments, joints, muscles, and cartilage. Many of our adult and pediatric orthopaedic surgeons practice general orthopaedics and some specialize in several different areas:
