The Division of Gastroenterology-Hepatology offers a variety of general and specialized gastroenterological services. Provided below is a listing of some of the services in the division:

General Gastroenterology Diagnosis, Treatment, and Followup:
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis)
  • Colorectal Cancer Screening
  • Peptic Ulcer Disease
  • Helicobacter pylori Infection
  • Irritable Bowel Disease
  • Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease and 24 hour pH Studies
  • Esophageal Disorders including Achalasia
Endoscopic Services:
  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy with Polypectomy
  • Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG)
  • Small Bowel Enteroscopy
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
  • ERCP with Sphincterotomy
  • Sphincter of Oddi Manometry
  • Wall Stent Placement
  • YAG Laser Therapy
  • Argon Plasma Coagulation
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) with both Linear and Radial Array
  • EUS with Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNA)
  • Clinical Trials in Virtual Colonoscopy
